Torzon Knowledge Base

The definitive index of terminology, protocols, and slang used within the Torzon Market ecosystem.

Anti-Phishing Code

A security feature on Torzon Market. When you log in, the site displays a unique phrase or code that you previously set up in your account settings. If you do not see this code, or if it is different, you are on a phishing site (a fake mirror) and should leave immediately.

SECURITY LOGIN

DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service)

An attack where a network is flooded with traffic to make it inaccessible. Torzon Market links are often targeted by competitors or blackmailers using DDoS attacks. This is why the market maintains multiple "Mirrors" (alternative URLs) to ensure uptime even when the main address is under attack.

INFRASTRUCTURE ATTACK

Drop (Dead Drop)

A method of delivery where a package is hidden in a public location rather than mailed to an address. While Torzon Market primarily facilitates mail-order delivery, some localized vendors offer dead drops for high-value items to avoid postal service detection.

Escrow

The financial backbone of Torzon Market. When a buyer makes a purchase, funds are not sent to the vendor directly. Instead, they are held by the market's Escrow service. The funds are only released to the vendor once the buyer confirms receipt of the goods (Finalize) or if the auto-finalize timer expires.

FINANCE PROTECTION

FE (Finalize Early)

A transaction mode where the buyer releases funds to the vendor before receiving the product. This removes Escrow protection. On Torzon Market, buyers should only FE for vendors with "Trusted" status and high feedback scores, as FE transactions are non-refundable.

RISK TRADING

Mirror (Torzon Mirror)

An alternative URL that leads to the same Torzon Market backend database. Mirrors are essential for bypassing network congestion and DDoS attacks. Authentic mirrors must always be verified via PGP signature to prevent phishing.

URL ACCESS

Monero (XMR)

The preferred cryptocurrency of the Torzon darknet economy. Unlike Bitcoin, Monero uses ring signatures, ringCT, and stealth addresses to hide the sender, receiver, and amount. Using XMR ensures that even if the market is seized, blockchain analysis cannot link your wallet to the market's wallet.

CRYPTO PRIVACY

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy)

An encryption program that provides cryptographic privacy and authentication. On Torzon Market, PGP is mandatory for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and for encrypting shipping addresses. Sending a shipping address in "plaintext" is a violation of OpSec rules.

ENCRYPTION TOOL

Tails OS

The Amnesic Incognito Live System. An operating system that boots from a USB stick and routes all internet traffic through Tor. It is designed to leave no trace on the computer it is used on. It is the only recommended OS for accessing Torzon Market securely.

SOFTWARE OPSEC

Tumbler / Mixer

A service used to break the link between a source address and a destination address for Bitcoin. While mixers were once popular, they are now often flagged by exchanges. Torzon Market recommends switching to Monero instead of using Bitcoin tumblers.
